An orienpet bred from Black Beauty. It resembles Black Beauty in flower shape, color and form, but has deep pink-red blooms that almost glow with color. Full sun or part shade, it performs well. Stems reach 4-5 feet with about 20 blooms per stem in mid to late July.  NOT FRAGRANT.

CARE OF YOUR LILY BULBS. Lily bulbs are never truly dormant and should never become dessicated or freeze out of the ground. They will grow roots from the base as long as there is moisture available, your lilies may have basal roots when you get them, try not to break them, it is a head start for the bulb. Bulbs can be stored in the sawdust in a cold place until they can be planted. Open the bag for air circulation and keep moist, NOT wet. With lilies erring on the dry side is best. Bulbs should not become dessicated, scales should be plump.

A lovely lavender pink Oriental with heavy red spots and the petals are edged in red. Blooms are outfacing, blooming in July on 4 feet tall stems, likely to be taller in part shade.

Because unlicensed dogs in Linn county, OREGON are allowed to run loose and attack anyone, any pets, crops, livestock etc. we have have several thousand dollars of damage to our crops, fences and no longer keep any pets or livestock since we got tired of the slaughter, and constant stress and terror of what would be destroyed, or killed next. Except for our last 3 cats that adopted us, but they don't hunt anymore, they rarely even venture outside since they have been so badly terrorized by now.

We will have many more losses in the future as the Linn County Oregon Sheriff Dept and so called Linn County"animal" control has made it perfectly and very painfully clear that unlicensed killer dogs have every right to run at large and bark day and night and we have no rights due to Oregon's ANTI FARMING attitude and of course we have NO TIME AND NO MONEY & therefore NO power. It doesn't help that the MAIN business out here in LaCrap, Oregon is drugs so as long as drugs are illegal, drug dealers rule.

As things only get worse here every year I am downsizing my workload so I can spend more of my time out at night with Mr. Ruger and Mr. Winchester, since I do everything that needs done here I won't be able to do much propagation, and cannot see much point in it with the constant devastation and intolerable working conditions, and I won't even mention the horrid micro climate we are stuck with since we couldn't afford a decent place with Oregon's Anti-Farming laws, yes the realtor's are right when they say the most important thing is LOCATION! We should have moved to the desert, we could have a business that doesn't require having a climate that plants will grow in. AT LEAST WE WOULD HAVE PEACE, SAFETY & possibly a LIVING WAGE!
